Chennai Super Kings (CSK) waltzed into the Indian Premier League (IPL) finals after beating Gujarat Titans (GT) by a slender margin of 15 runs. The legend of MS Dhoni continues in IPL 2023. The "Yellove Army" have now made it to the playoffs a grand 12 times. 'Thala' as he is fondly called in Chennai has led the side to four titles in the IPL. CSK will now get a four-day break before they face the winners of the second qualifier.

After the game Harsha Bhogle asked MS Dhoni will he come and play in the yellow jersey again to which he gave a frank answer. MS Dhoni said he has eight-nine months to decide before the min auction for IPL 2024 comes up. MS Dhoni said he does not want to take the extra headache upon himself now. Thala mentioned that he will always be there for CSK whether it is playing or something outside.

I don't think he is going to at least stay as a coach. BCCI would grab him with some or the other role and that would make him stay away from CSK as well. But still, he'd maintain that connection with Chennai.
