Indian national cricket team’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma is currently on a sabbatical from international cricket. In his absence, Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya are leading the Indian team against New Zealand in the three-match T20I series and ODI series, respectively. Notably, Rohit was clearly visible in tears following the embarrassing debacle of the Indian team in the second semi-final against England during the 20-20 World Cup 2022.

Recently, the skipper caught the eyeballs of the cricket fans again, he went on to post some recent pictures from his gym sessions where he was working out to make himself fit for the upcoming assignment against Bangladesh in the red-ball series.

The 35-year-old was on the receiving end of a mockery from some of the Indian cricket fans for being overweight in the past few months. Although the pictures seem to say that the veteran batter is keen to make a strong comeback on the field of cricket.

Meanwhile, his fans also took to Twitter for slamming the haters who were criticizing him for the weight.
