KL Rahul had another terrible series for team India when they took on Australia in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The home side won the series by 2-1 over the Aussies. But, the inclusion of Rahul in the playing XI of the first two matches was in the headlines. Former cricketers like Kapil Dev and Harbhajan Singh also claimed that he should not get a chance ahead of batters like Shubman Gill.

In the first two matches, KL Rahul scored only 38 runs in three innings. After that, he remained in the squad for the last two matches. But, Gill played those matches instead of him and he also got removed from being the vice-captain of the side. Now, a video has gone viral where a fan made a funny parody video on the star batter.

Here is the shared video by a fan of KL Rahul:

Speaking of the tweet, it reads: “Scam 2014 - The KL Rahul Story”. It meant that the fan claimed that since his international debut in 2014, his inclusion in team India has been a big scam. Speaking of the career of KL Rahul, he has scored just 6777 runs in 160 matches across all three formats. But, in the longest format of the game, he has failed miserably so far. In 47 matches, Rahul has scored 2642 runs at an average of 33.44. The video that the fan made was inspired by the famous drama named “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story”.

However, the former team India cricketer, Sunil Gavaskar has come up with an epic suggestion for Rohit Sharma regarding this batter for the WTC final. While speaking to SportsTak, Sunil Gavaskar said: “You can see KL Rahul as a wicketkeeper. If he bats at No.5 or 6 in at the Oval (in the WTC final) then our batting will be stronger. Because he batted really well in England last year. He scored a century at the Lord's. Keep KL Rahul in mind when you pick your XI for the WTC final."
