According to reports in ABP Live, the all-rounder’s luxury watches were taken away on November 14, when India players landed home. Pandya didn’t have the invoices for both watches.

It is well-documented fact that the all-rounder is fond of adding luxury watches to his collection. He has a wide range of watches of some of the rarest and renowned brands, including Patek Philippe Nautilus Platinum 5711.

As per reports, the watch that was seized by the officials has ’32 baguette-cut emeralds, all of which are factory set. The watch is entirely made of platinum, etched with some of the most exotic metals. Now, Pandya’s one of the most expensive possession is with Airport Customs.

Pandya failed to get going with the bat in the 20-20 World Cup. He also didn’t bowl a lot due to back problems. Meanwhile, India will next be seen in the upcoming three-match T20I series versus New Zealand starting from November 17. The BCCI selectors have not included the all-rounder in the team due to persistent back problems and fitness issues.

Although the Chetan Sharma-led team didn’t reveal the reason for Pandya's ouster from the New Zealand series, certain reports indicate that he was excluded due to persistent fitness issues.
