Star Indian wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav is once again in the headlines following his perfunctory omission from the playing XI of the second and last of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Notably, the 28-year-old was adjudged ‘player of the match for his outstanding performance in the first Test against the hosts.

The Indian team management has given a comeback call for the 31-year-old veteran domestic pacer after a long gap of 12 years. Unadkat played his last Test for India when he debuted in the Centurion Test against South Africa back in the year 2010.

Coming back to Kuldeep Yadav, the fans feel that the Indian cricket Board is doing completely an injustice with the talent of the Kanpur-based spin prodigy.

Talking about the small but illustrious Test career of Kuldeep Yadav has played eight Tests for the Indian team. In 14 innings of these appearances, Yadav has scalped 34 wickets including three five-wicket hauls alongside two four-wicket hauls.

Before his appearance against Bangladesh in the first Test of the series, Kuldeep played the last and seventh Test of his career against England 22 months back in February.

Notably, the Indian team is scheduled to play in a home assignment of limited-overs series against Sri Lanka starting from the 3rd of January, 2023.

Looking at the action of the first day of the ongoing second Test between Bangladesh and India, the former has lost five wickets on the score of 185 runs. Number three batter Mominul Haque (66 runs with 11 boundaries) is there in the middle alongside Mehidy Hasan Miraz who is on the score of 4 runs.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Jaydev Unadkat have scalped two wickets each alongside the big wicket from Bangla skipper Shakib Al Hasan by Umesh Yadav just on the first ball of the second session.
