‘Gujarat mei ghusna hai bhai ko’ - Fans react to viral images of Marnus Labuschagne tying shoelace of Hardik Pandya during ODI series

Team India are currently busy playing the ODI series at home against Australia. Both teams have won one match each so far as the series decider will take place in Chennai on 22 March 2023. However, now Marnus Labuschagne shared an image on his official Twitter where he was seen tying the shoelace of Hardik Pandya during one of the matches.

He shared the image with a captain ‘#33’ with a handshake emoji. The Aussie batter seemed to mention that because both players wear the 33-number jersey for their respective teams. However, Marnus Labuschangne has failed miserably on this tour of India. After a poor show in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the Aussie batter has failed in the ODI series so far.

Marnus Labuschagne is currently the number one-ranked batter in the Tests

Before the BGT, all eyes were on Marnus Labuschagne as he is the current number one-ranked batter in the longest format of the game. But, he failed to show his dominance as Labuschagne scored 244 runs in eight innings, including only one fifty. Then, he batted in the first ODI and scored only 15 runs. However, he did not get any opportunity to bat in the second match in Vizag. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has also failed to do something special for team India in two ODIs.

In two matches, Pandya scored 26 runs and took just one wicket with the ball. So, fans are not happy with the performances of both players in the ongoing series so far. Meanwhile, seeing that image, some fans went crazy and shared that he maybe wants to get into the Gujarat franchise for the Indian T20 League 2023. Still, now, Labuschagne has not played a single season of the tournament for any franchises. Both of them will look to do well in the series decider in Chennai when both teams will lock horns.
