Laver Cup 2022 between Team Europe and Team World happened to be the swan song of the legendary tennis star from Switzerland, Roger Federer. He played the last match of his international career as a teammate of another tennis legend from Spain, Rafael Nadal. It was an emotional moment for both Nadal and Federer as they both broke down into tears on this moment.

Apart from this, the cricketing fraternity was also all praise for the Swiss legend. Many renowned cricketers including former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli took to Twitter for congratulating the 41-year-old for his illustrious and handsome international career of 24 years.

Roger Federer, in the last match of his career in the Laver cup 2022 teamed up with the Spanish star Rafael Nadal against the American duo of Jack Sock and F. Tiafoe. Although, the legendary pair lost in the final match of the Laver Cup.

Sock and Tiafoe won the match with a score line of 4-6, 7-6, 11-9 against the duo of Federer and Nadal.

The moment when the match was finished, everyone who was there in the arena went emotional just after moment Federer and Nadal broke into tears. Federer is leaving a legacy of excellence in international tennis with his 24-year-long career since his debut in the year 1998.

The Right-handed, One-handed Backhand has won 20 Grand slams and he is just behind the Serbian star Novak Djokovic and senior Spanish lad Rafael Nadal who have won 21 and 22 Grand Slams respectively.

Notably, the big four including the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray were part of Team Europe in the Laver Cup 2022.
