Just before two runs from the half-century, Alex Hales fell prey to young pacer Mohammad Hasnain. Later on, Dawid Malan stabilized the inning Kohler-Cadmore. After that, the short cameos from Lewis Gregory and Colin Munro helped the team to reach a total of 181 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 100 balls.

Sunil Narine's efforts couldn't help Oval Invincibles to cross the line

While chasing the target, Jason Roy and Will Jacks started the proceedings for the Invincibles. They both started quite steadily for the team. But all of sudden, a sort of collapse happened for the Invincibles, they lost their top three wickets only on the score of 43 runs.

Sam Curran, however, tried to stitch a partnership with Jordan Cox but he also got succumbed to Samit Patel on the score of 27 runs off 19 balls. Then came the Caribbean talent Sunil Narine, he stayed there in the middle for some time with Jordan Cox.

They both were comfortably taking the inning ahead. The second last over of the second innings came very crucially for both the teams as Sam Cook’s conceded 16 runs off just three deliveries. It took the Invincibles a bit near to the target.

But it remained yet so far for the visitors as they required 29 runs in the last over. They could add up only three runs to the scoreboard and Sunil Narine got out in the last over, eventually, the Sam Billings-led team lost the match by 25 runs in the end.
