Former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar dominated world cricket for 24 years. He is still the world’s highest run-scorer in the ODIs and Tests and also holds the record for most international centuries in all formats of the game. He scored more than 15,000 runs each in both ODIs and Tests.
Even if somebody is not a cricket fan, one must have heard about Tendulkar’s name as he ruled billions of hearts and minds for more than a time period of two fans. Fans used to call him God of Cricket due to his stellar contributions to the game of cricket.
The legendary right-hander hung his boots from international cricket nine years back in the year 2013. In the same year, he also retired from the Indian T20 League after the final between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Mumbai Indians won their maiden title in the Indian T20 League.
In a recent piece of news, it has been confirmed that Sachin Tendulkar will be back on the field of cricket. It is a tournament organized in India to create awareness about road safety in the country. It was the very tournament where Tendulkar made his return to the competitive form of cricket.

Other than Sachin, a few other players also participated in this tournament. These were from the countries like West Indies, England, and South Africa. They played from the different teams in the tournament to fight for the title of the tournament.
The first edition of this tournament was organized two years back. But due to the Covid pandemic across the world, it couldn’t be played in this period of time. India Legends under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar won the tournament after beating Sri Lanka legends by a margin of 14 runs in the final of the tournament.
Recently, the promo shared by Sachin confirms his participation in the upcoming edition of the tournament which is to be played from the 10th of September. The final of the Road Safety League will be played on the 1st of October.
