On 16 May 2023, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing IPL. This match is going to be crucial for both teams to strengthen their solace in the top four. However, ahead of that clash, a video has now gone viral where Nicholas Pooran was seen teasing Naveen-ul-Haq by calling him ‘Mango Guy’.
Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. The video seemed to be from the team bus where Pooran was seen sitting with the Afghanistan pacer. It also seemed that the video was from an Instagram live session. However, the ‘Mango Guy’ term seemed to be used based on the Instagram story shared by Naveen during the MI vs RCB clash.

Naveen-ul-Haq made a comeback in the playing XI against MI
RCB lost that match and it was a disappointing outing with the bat for Virat Kohli also. So, he shared two Instagram stories where mangoes and the live match on TV were seen. Before that, Kohli also shared praises for Rashid Khan and Wriddhiman Saha’s performance on Instagram against LSG. However, both Naveen and Kohli had an ugly bust-up during the LSG vs RCB clash. Due to that, Kohli got fined 100% of his match fees while Naveen got fined 50% of his match fees.
However, in some recent matches, Naveen has failed to get a place in the playing XI. But, he made a comeback in the playing XI against MI. After losing the toss, LSG skipper Krunal Pandya said: “It’s a good toss to lose. We would have batted first as well. Every game in IPL is important and there are quite a few changes. Naveen and Deepak Hooda in, Kyle Mayers and Avesh Khan out. There is one more change as well, can’t quite remember it. Everyone is fit and raring to go.” MI won the toss and opted to bowl first.
