The Indian Cricket Board honorary secretary Jay Shah dropped significant updates on the sale of Tickets for the forthcoming ODI World Cup 2023. They hope to put up the tickets for sale by August 10 and the staging associations are asked to finalise their ticket prices by July 31. “We will make arrangements so that the physical tickets can be collected at seven-eight places one week prior to the match. We will make it hassle-free. We will start the e-ticket system in bilateral games first,” Shah said during an interaction with the media.

The Indian Cricket Board plans on providing free drinking water for all fans.  “We will tie up with a company like Coca-Cola, which is the official partner of Apex Council too. Coca-Cola’s water brand Kinley will be served in the stands. That’s what we are trying. Whether it will be a packaged water bottle or by the glass, we will get to know soon because there are some constraints with regard to the bottle. Whatever it will be, it will be completely free,” Indian Cricket Board secretary Jay Shah said. He also said that they are emphasizing concession-based quality food products with hygienic distribution and affordable pricing.
