However, the Men in Green have not had a great start ahead of the crucial series of the 2023-25 ​​World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. A video of Pakistan players including former captain Babar Azam loading their luggage into a truck has gone viral on social media.

The Shan Masood-led side departed from Lahore for a three-match Test series on Thursday, November 31. The players were forced to load their luggage on a truck as no one from the Australian embassy or the Pakistani embassy came to receive them at the airport. 

The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some fans expressed disappointment at the mismanagement, others found humour in the situation. Usually, teams are welcomed with open arms when they travel to a foreign country to play a series.

The Pakistan men's cricket team has undergone a complete makeover since its debacle in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India last month.
