Although Indian fans are the individuals who can find wit and humor in any kind of situation, and they did the same in this case as well. Fans took no time in dragging former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir into this whole scenario. Notably, fans are not happy with his ignorant remarks about Gambhir for Virat Kohli.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Earlier, cricket fans and other people of the cricketing fraternity came to know the entire incident when Virat himself posted that video showing the visuals of Kohli’s room in The Crowne Hotel.

“I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favorite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment,” wrote Kohli in his Instagram post with a video of a room filmed by an unknown individual.

After facing a backlash from the entire cricketing fraternity, the matter has now gone to a serious extent.

In a recent development of events, The Crown Hotel in Perth has sacked its contractor following the incident. Notably, the hotel management has apologized to the Indian batting great, the Indian cricket team, and Cricket’s governing body.
