India bowlers put up a great show in the morning session of day four of the ongoing second Test against West Indies as they got bundled out for 255 runs in 115.4 overs. Their overnight score was 229 runs for five wickets and in the morning session, in 7.4 overs they added just 26 runs while losing all five wickets.

Mohammed Siraj was the star as he picked up four wickets and finished his spell with a fifer. Thus, India gained a huge lead of 183 runs. For the Men in Blue, skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal came out as openers. Fans were expecting another top knock from Rohit as he hit a century in the last game.

Rohit Sharma smashed five fours and three sixes

Then, in the first innings of the ongoing match, he smashed 80 runs off 143 balls, including nine fours and two sixes. He also put up a partnership of 139 runs for the first wicket. However, Rohit and Jaiswal did not disappoint this time around also as they gave a blistering start to the team. Team India reached the 50-run mark in just 5.3 overs. Rohit played big shots and scored a fifty off just 35 balls. Finally, he got out on 57 runs off 44 balls, including five fours and three sixes. He and Jaiswal put up a partnership of 98 runs for the first wicket.

Shannon Gabriel took the wicket as he got out to a short ball that he tried to pull. He looked out of position while playing the shot as the ball straight went to the hands of Alzarri Joseph at the fine leg region. Finally, Jaiswal remained not out on 38 runs along with Shubman Gill as India scored 98 runs for one wicket in 12 overs before the umpires called for lunch. Gill faced only one ball as the rain came in. Thus, India managed to take the lead up to 281 runs with two more sessions to go on day four.
