After crushing Pakistan in the finals of the 20-20 World Cup 2022, England are all set to take on the Babar Azam-led team in a three-match Test series set to get underway on December 1, Thursday. However, the match looks in doubt as the English camp is reportedly struck by a virus and are unwell since the time they arrived.

Earlier, the reports claimed that the team are all set to travel to Pakistan with a personal chef as they were unhappy the other time they toured the country in September for a seven-match T20I series that England won 4-3.

Fans, on the other hand, trolled the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for providing unhealthy groceries and a few, on the other hand, defended the board saying that it was not their fault. Things have not been going Pakistan’s way ever since they lost the multinational tournament as Shaheen Afridi, their lead pacer, is all set to miss the first Test to recover from the injury.

As things stand, the PCB tweeted late evening on Wednesday that they are in constant talks with the England Cricket Board (ECB) regarding the conducting of the first Test and the necessary precautions to be taken for the players.

“The PCB and ECB are in discussions regarding the commencement of the 1st #PAKvENG Test as some England players are down with viral infection. The PCB continues to monitor the situation, is in contact with the ECB and will provide further updates in due course,” PCB tweeted.

Much to the dreariness of the English fans, the news came out of nowhere and they are hoping for the early recovery of the renowned players. PCB, on the other hand, would look to address the issue and get things sorted in the upcoming days as they look to correct those errors.

As things stand, let us take a look at a few Twitter reactions to the news claiming England players are unwell:
