The Abu Dhabi T10 league will commence on November 19. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) announced the schedule earlier for the fifth season of the 10 overs tournament. Since the inaugural edition in 2017, cricket’s shortest format has managed to hook the audience and onlookers alike by providing a pulsating and entertaining action.

The T10 league has also seen quite a few players come from smaller countries and play franchise cricket. It has also seen few senior players like Chris Gayle and Andre Russell ace the format with consummate ease. This year’s edition is also no different as quite a few players have signed up with the six participating teams.

As the fifth edition of the T10 league promises to be a bigger and exciting affair, here are a few moments that stood out during the 20-20 edition.

Evin Lewis scores five maximums in one over

On his day West Indian opener Even Lewis can be as destructive and lethal. Even the best of the bowlers are not sparred. This time the sufferer was Bangladesh fast bowler Mukhtar Ali. Delhi Bulls Lewis dispatched Maratha Arabians Ali to all parts of the ground. He scored 33 runs and enabled his team to overhaul a target of 88 runs in just five overs.

Wayne Parnell takes a hat-trick

Former South Africa pacer Parnell picked up a memorable hat-trick, amidst the barrage of fours and sixes. During the group stage, Northern Warriors bowler picked up a hat-trick to restrict Bulls to just 93. Parnell knocked of Sherfane Rutherford, Dwayne Bravo and Ali Khan in three consecutive deliveries.

Nicholas Pooran shines with the bat

Northern Warriors posted a whopping 162 in 10 overs on the back of Pooran’s scintillating hitting. The southpaw scored 89 off just 26 balls. He scored 12 huge sixes and fetched the record for scoring most maximums in one inning.

Chris Gayle proves who the boss is

Gayle demonstrated his hitting prowess by taking Abu Dhabi home with 27 balls to spare in a chase of 98. He remained unbeaten on 84 off just 22 balls and dispatched Maratha Arabian's bowlers to all parts of the ground.

Fabian Allen picks four wickets

In a crunch match in Eliminator 2 against Abu Dhabi, Warriors Allen picked four wickets and ensured Northern Warriors reach the finals of the tournament.
