Odean Smith has built a name for himself in the international arena in his brief career. The 25-year-old Jamaican was predicted to get high bids in the mega auction. Punjab, as expected, snatched him up for a staggering Rs 6 crores. He is a bowler who bowls tight lines to put batters under pressure, and he can bat as well. He plays in the lower order and is a power hitter. The Punjab team will surely enjoy having him on their team.

Yash Dhull

Yash Dhull was signed by the Delhi team at the Indian T20 League 2022 mega auction. The U-19 World Cup-winning skipper was one of India's best batters in the World Cup, which was recently held in the West Indies. He hit many game-winning knocks during the competition, helping India take their fifth U19 World Cup. Dhull smashed 229 runs in four matches, averaging 76.33 and striking at a rate of 85.44. His tournament performance featured a century and a fifty.

Raj Bawa

Another star player from the U-19 World Cup-winning team, Raj Bawa can get a chance to play for his new team, Punjab, in the 2022 season. Bawa made news after scoring the highest runs in a single inning by an Indian in the U-19 World Cup. He scored 162* (108) against Uganda, breaking Shikhar Dhawan's old record of 155. The Himachal Pradesh boy made history by becoming the first Indian to grab a five-for in the U-19 World Cup final. He is expected to play the role of an all-rounder in the team for Punjab.
