When it comes to the Indian T20 League, the all-rounders have always been the key to winning titles. Every franchise has had at least one world-class all-rounder in their side at some point in time. However, there are a few who stand out from the rest. Today, we shall be taking a look at the top five best all-rounders in the history of the Indian T20 league.

1) Shane Watson:

Shane Watson is unarguably the greatest all-rounder to have played this league. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say that he has been one of the biggest match-winners to have played the toughest 20. Not only has he been influential in winning a title for both, Rajasthan, as well as Chennai, but he has also been really consistent. Besides, the Aussie has won two MVP awards as well.

Dwayne Bravo has been an absolute "Champion" and one of the most charismatic all-rounders. After representing Mumbai, he went on to play for Chennai, and has now become synonymous with the franchise. In fact, he was the first all-rounder to pick 100 wickets, and score 1000 runs. He has also won the Purple Cap twice (2013 and 2015).

3) Kieron Pollard:

Despite playing for just one franchise (Mumbai), Pollard has been one of the most impactful all-rounders in the league. He has been a part of five title-winning campaigns. The current limited-overs skipper of West Indies has scored 3268 runs in the Indian T20 league at an average and strike rate of 29.98 and 149.77. He has also picked 65 wickets.

4) Andre Russell:

Andre Russell is one of the most fearsome players to have played in the league. He is one of the most explosive T20 cricketers as well. The Caribbean all-rounder has a whopping strike rate of 178.57 in his Indian T20 league career. Besides, he has also picked 72 wickets. Last but not the least, Russell has won the MVP award twice as well (2015 and 2019).

5) Ravindra Jadeja:

Ravindra Jadeja was nicknamed "Rockstar" for a reason. It is safe to call him the greatest Indian all-rounder to have played the Indian T20 league. In the 200 games he has played so far, the Saurashtra player has taken 171 wickets at a economy rate of 7.61. He has also scored 2386 runs at an average of 27.11.
