Fans delighted to see MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina play together

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina are known to be close friends. From playing for India to representing CSK together for over a decade, the duo has played most of their cricket alongside each other. After pulling out of the IPL in the 2020 edition, Raina is back in the ‘Yellow Jersey’ for the 2021 season.

The duo is playing together against Delhi Capitals which has made their fans delighted about the same. Some hardcore CSK fans took to Twitter and expressed their delight to see the duo play together.

Suresh Raina has a prolific record in the Indian Premier League and CSK are banking upon him to change their fortunes in the IPL 2021. The southpaw has got off to a blazing in the tournament.

Chennai lost some early wickets and were reeling at 7-2 before Raina turned back the clock and stroked a scintillating half-century. CSK are 143-6 at the time of writing and are looking good to set a decent total on the board. The fans, however, won't be able to see Raina and Dhoni bat together as the former was unfortunately run out for a 36 ball 54. MS Dhoni too couldn't make an impact and was dismissed for two ball duck

As for the Delhi Capitals, they are without the services of Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada as the South Africans are still in quarantine. In their absence, DC went in with the English duo of Tom Curran and Chris Woakes. Both will be making their debut for the franchise. All eyes will be on Rishabh Pant who is playing his first game as a skipper.
