Former Punjab Kings pacer Parwinder Awana paid his tribute to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter AB de Villiers, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Friday (November 19).
Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Jason Roy were a few of the many players who praised AB de Villiers for a stellar career. Awana also extended his greetings to AB. Taking to Twitter, Awana shared a post and captioned it as “Thank you @AbdeVilliers17 for your contribution to cricket.”
However, there was something in the post that irked the fans. Pawana posted a video where he dismissed AB de Villiers, which many felt was insulting to the great batter.

Consequently, Pawana was trolled on Twitter, with fans asking him to give respect for the former South African batter.
He is such a big player who has been a great ambassador of the game. Kam se kam uski nahin to apne khel ki to izzat kar lo.

De Villiers' contribution to the IPL is second to none. He has managed to change the dynamics of T20 cricket by bringing a 360 degrees style of play. He started his IPL career by playing for Delhi Capitals in 2008, but it is with the RCB that he truly flourished. In 10 years with the franchise, De Villiers has given fans many memories and won a lot of matches singlehandedly for RCB. He ended his IPL career by scoring 5162 runs in 184 matches.
