Expensive cars and huge cash prizes promises to team if they win Indian domestic title

Hyderabad Cricket chief Mr Jagan Mohan Rao has promised his team the moon if they happen to win India’s domestic title. According to the promise if Hyderabad wins the title within the next two-three seasons the players are set for a windfall.

BMW Cars and a cash prize of INR 1 Crore for the entire team has been announced by MR Jagan Mohan Rao. This proclamation has left many fans in disbelief as Hyderabad have a young side at the moment. 

The Hyderabad team has just won the plate final and were rewarded handsomely. This year the Hyderabad team made headlines because of Tanmay Agarwal. The left-handed batter scored the fastest triple ton in First Class cricket.

Speaking to the Indian Express Hyderabad chief Jagan Mohan Rao has made a huge promise. The team will be given huge bonuses if they win the Indian Domestic title in three seasons. 

“The announcement was aimed at motivating the players and other stakeholders. Achieving the target next year is realistically not possible so I gave them three seasons” Said Mr. Rao to the newspaper. 

He also revealed the massive plans Hyderabad Cricket has in store for the future. “We had our first annual general meeting on Sunday wherein we discussed the way forward. At the moment there is Hyderabad Cricket Academy of Excellence at the Gymkhana Grounds. I have proposed four satellite academies in four different parts of the city to make sure budding cricketers are scouted and given requisite facilities near their localities”

It was also revealed by Mr. Rao to the newspaper that “As many as 10 districts come under HCA so we have planned a mini stadium at each district headquarters to identify and groom talents. The iconic Moin-ud-Dowlah tournament will also be revamped”

Mohammed Siraj and Tilak Varma are two of the most prominent players from Hyderabad currently. The likes of ML Jaisimha, VVS Laxman, and Mohammed Azharuddin have put Hyderabad cricket on the map internationally. It will be interesting to see how much of the promises Mr. Jagan Mohan Rao fulfills if his young lot wins the title.
