England legends looks a quality team on paper. Players like Kevin Pietersen, Nick Compton, Jonathan Trott, Owais Shah, all have a reputation of being clean strikers of the cricket ball. The surface, as we saw in the previous game, was a belter and all these batsmen will be eager to get on the 22-yard deck. Talking about their bowling, they too are not short on quality. Chris Tremlett, Sajid Mehmood can generate some pace, not like they use to bowl in their playing days, but still, they can rush the batsmen. Bangladesh struggled against the Indian spinners in the last game thus Monty Panesar and James Tradewell will have a role to play.

Bangladesh will be disappointed with their batting performance in the last match. They got off to a decent start and wee 59-0 in 8 overs. However, once they lost the first wicket, they fell like a pack of cards and were bowled out for 119. Nazimuddin batted well for his 49 but other batsmen looking completely out of touch. They’ll need to bring our their A game if they are to challenge the England team. Talking about their bowling, they had no answers to the onslaught by the dashing duo of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag was at his destructive best and smacked a 35 ball 80. Bangladesh bowlers failed to hit the right lengths and paid the price for the same. They need to bowl better in the next game else they might suffer the same humiliation that they went through against India.
