Now, all eyes are on Day 4 and how the weather might impact the proceedings. According to Accuweather.com, there's only a 20% chance of rain, so the match is unlikely to be affected significantly. 

At most, one or two brief rain interruptions may occur, but overall, with the current over rates from the past three days, at least 80 overs of play are expected. The weather is likely to be similar to Day 3 — sunny and windy — with humidity levels around 50–60%. Fans can look forward to another cracking day of Test cricket in Leeds.

India lead by 96 runs with eight wickets in hand

England started Day 3 on 209/3. However, Ollie Pope, who had scored a fine century, was dismissed early for 106 by Prasidh Krishna. Skipper Ben Stokes added 20 from 52 balls, while wicketkeeper Jamie Smith played a positive knock of 40 off 52.

Harry Brook was the standout performer for England. He played a brilliant, aggressive innings but fell just one run short of a century, dismissed for 99 off 112 balls. Despite his disappointment, England were helped by valuable contributions from the lower order. 

Chris Woakes scored 38, Brydon Carse added 22, and Josh Tongue chipped in with 11. England were eventually bowled out for 465 in 100.4 overs, trailing India’s first-innings total of 471 by just six runs.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah picked up a five-wicket haul along with Prasidh Krishna claiming three wickets, while Mohammed Siraj took two. 

In their second innings, India suffered an early blow when Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for just four. But KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan added 66 runs for the second wicket before Sudharsan fell for 30. 

At stumps, Shubman Gill was unbeaten on 6, with Rahul batting confidently on 47*. India ended the day on 90/2 in 23.5 overs, leading by 96 runs with eight wickets in hand.
