Day 2 of the Emirates D 10 League kicked off with Sharjah Bukhatir XI beating Ajman Alubond by 8 wickets. Batting first, Ajman could only score 106-7 in their 10 overs. They got off to a good start and were 77-3 in 6.3 overs. However, a middle order collapse meant that they had to settle for a par 106. Muhammad Kaleem was the top scorer for Ajman and scored 37 runs off 18 deliveries. The target was not a massive one and Sharjah knocked off the runs with 8 wickets and 16 balls to spare. Khalid Shah stroked a 14 ball 27 while Renjith Mani scored 33 off 15 deliveries. This was Shahjah’s third consecutive win.

In the second game of the day, Fujairah Pacific Ventures thrashed Dubai Pulse Secure by 26 runs. It was a great opportunity for Dubai to secure their first win of the tournament but they surrendered to the disciplined bowling performance from Fujairah. Dubai needed just over a 100 to win the game but a collapse saw them score only 76-8 in the full quota of overs. Ronak Panoly was the top scorer for Dubai and scored 23 off 13 balls. Earlier, Chirag Suri got them off to a sizzling start as Fujairah raced to 54 in just 20 balls. However, the innings got derailed and wickets at regular intervals meant that Fujairah could only set a target of 103 runs.

In the final game of the day, ECB Blues decimated Abu Dhabi by 88 runs to clinch their third victory. Carrying on his brutal form, Mohammed Boota stroked a quick fire 50 to get ECB Blues off to a flier. Laxman Manjrekar too looked in ominous form and stroked a blistering 16 ball 46. As a result, ECB Blues posted a daunting 134-4 in their 10 overs. Chasing such a massive target, Abu Dhabi collapsed under pressure and were bowled out for 46, losing the match by 88 runs.
