Earlier, The ruling by a judge in Melbourne overturned the cancellation of Djokovic's visa on Covid-19 health grounds. This led to positive, as well as negative reactions. Judge Anthony Kelly of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia had quashed the cancellation of his visa. Thus, this led to the 20-time Grand Slam winner getting permission to stay in Australia.

However, Warne wasn't happy with the decision. He took to Twitter to express his disappointment on the Serbian being allowed to enter the country. The former leggie even demanded an explanation for the same.

"Are these facts true? As I’ve read so many different reports in this messy embarrassing saga. Novak tested positive to covid Dec 16 & attended a public event on the 17th that inc children. Said he hadn’t travelled in 14 days before arriving in Oz but travelled Jan 2 to Spain ?" read his Tweet.

In another Tweet, Warne asked if Djokovic had a medical exemption. He further enquired the details of the exemption if they were any. Last but not the least, the 52-year-old even questioned the Victorian government, and said that he was just trying to understand the facts.

"And did Novak have a medical exemption ? If so - has the person who gave it to him been identified? What was that exemption ? Just trying to get the facts as I’m embarrassed as a Victorian at this situation. Vic Govt are quiet ? Can someone explain to us in plain Eng please 👍" read his Tweet. However, it is to be noted that top Tennis stars like Andy Murray and Australia's Nick Kygios sympathized with the Serbian Tennis player.
