Team India are currently toiling hard on Day two of the ongoing Test against the Aussies in Delhi. However, after finishing day one without losing any wickets, the Men in Blue lost four quick wickets in the first session only. Cheteshwar Pujara is one of them as he managed a duck in his 100th Test match.

The stage was set for the batter as fans were expecting a big score from him on the big occasion. In the series opener in Nagpur, Pujara scored only seven runs off 14 balls, including one boundary. So, the batter was hoping for a better show in Delhi, especially on his 100th Test for the home side.

“Yes, my dream is to win that WTC Final for the Indian team.” - Cheteshwar Pujara

Ahead of the second Test, Cheteshwar Pujara opened up about his favourite knocks in his career. He said: "The one is when I made my debut and scored 72. I thought, that it was one of the most important innings in my career because I was very nervous. If I hadn't scored those runs, maybe I might not have played international cricket after that.”

“That innings was special. Moving on from there, the 92 against Australia at the Chinnaswamy Stadium is one of my favourites. Apart from that, my first overseas 100 against South Africa, I think it was Jo'burg in the second innings, 123 at Adelaide, and the last Test match at the Gabba, where I got hit on the body a few times. These are my special innings," Pujara added.

He also said that his wish is to win the WTC final if they manage to get qualified for the final by winning this series. Pujara said: “I am glad to be playing my 100th Test, but at the same time, we are in the middle of an important series so hopefully, we win this Test and move on and win another Test which will ensure we qualify for the WTC Finals. Yes, my dream is to win that WTC Final for the Indian team. Hopefully, once we qualify, we'll look towards that." But, he failed miserably as Pujara managed a seven-ball duck in the first innings.
