On 2 April 2011, team India won the ODI World Cup by defeating Sri Lanka at the Wankhede stadium, in Mumbai. The Men in Blue won the World Cup for the second time in their history. So, it was a special night for all team India’s players and fans. Now, a viral image has gone viral where both the young Arjun Tendulkar and Prithvi Shaw were seen watching that final from the stands.

Seeing that image, fans went crazy and shared their views on the social media platform. Speaking about them, Arjun Tendulkar is currently a part of the Mumbai franchise in the ongoing Indian T20 League. In the same tournament, Prithvi Shaw is also busy playing for the Delhi franchise. On 1 March 2023, Delhi kicked off their campaign and Shaw played an opener along with the skipper David Warner.

However, Prithvi Shaw had a disappointing start to the Indian T20 League 2023 as he scored just 12 runs off nine balls. On the other hand, Arjun Tendulkar has been a part of the Mumbai franchise since 2021. But, still, he has not played a single game. However, some reports are there that he might make his debut this season as star players like Jasprit Bumrah, and Jhye Richardson had been ruled out already due to injuries.

Recently, Prithvi Shaw finally managed to make a comeback into the team India squad for the home T20I series against New Zealand. But, he failed to play any of the three games. However, regarding his comeback, while speaking to News24 Sports, Prithvi Shaw said: “I felt really nice coming back into the T20I squad, to meet the players and train with them. I enjoyed that bit. Yes I did not get an opportunity but was given the chance of making a comeback, that mattered. It all depended on them, when to play when not to, but I respected that because probably they wanted to give the person before me a bit longer run. But again, I don't regret that. I will keep on looking for opportunities because I have a list of goals I want to achieve with the Indian team”.
