Rinku Singh had a fantastic IPL 2023 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He impressed everyone with his hitting abilities and the ability to score in crunch situations in a consistent manner. But, now, an image has gone viral where Rinku was seen with the actor, Pankaj Tripathi. Tripathi was seen recently attending an NDTV conclave.

There, he was having a conversation with Director And Actor Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Singer-Composer Vishal Mishra. The name of the program was 'Umeedon Ka Pradesh - Uttar Pradesh'. They were having a chat about the film industry of Uttar Pradesh. Seeing that image, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media.

India will play a full-fledged tour from 12 July 2023. So, fans are expecting to see some new names like Rinku Singh in the team, especially in the shortest format of the game. In 14 matches, he scored 474 runs, at an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.53. He smashed four fifties. Rinku also did an unthinkable when he smashed five consecutive sixes to win a game for KKR against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Now, the former Team India player, Wasim Jaffar opened up with a chat with Sportskeeda and said: “India will have to play fearless cricket. Especially in white-ball cricket, you will have to give chances to guys who are fearless because the game is changing now and if India have to win trophies, they will have to adopt that approach. 

“In white-ball cricket, if we talk about especially T20 cricket, I feel Yashasvi Jaiswal is again one of them. Rinku Singh has been brilliant. Jitesh Sharma – Rishabh Pant is currently not there. So Jitesh Sharma could be that guy to replace him, somebody who can bat at No. 5 or No. 6. Sanju Samson could probably come in 50 overs. I feel India will have to try these names,” he concluded.
