The Pakistan Super League, Season eight is ongoing as Multan Sultans are currently at the top of the table with two points in two matches. However, many new and young pace sensations come from every edition of this tournament. This time, Ihsanullah of this franchise has taken the tournament by storm with his sheer pace.
His ability to bowl at 150KPH has impressed everyone. In the last match against Quetta Gladiators, the young bowler from Pakistan took five wickets for just 12 runs. As of now, he has taken seven wickets in two matches, at an economy of 6.12. Now, in an interview with Samaa TV, Ihsanullah claimed that he wants to play for the Men in Green in the ODI World Cup in India.

The 20-year-old pacer also claimed that he wants to take a fifer against India in India. He said: “I wish I can make my debut against India in the World Cup and take a five-wicket haul. I want to concede 35 runs in 10 overs and get five wickets and hopefully win the match for Pakistan, I’ll be very happy.” The young pacer from Pakistan also thanked his coach and others. He added: “In domestic cricket, Abdul Rehman supported me who is our coach. Haider bhai retained me, I thank him and he got the reward for retaining me.”
Now, he will be in action against Peshawar Zalmi on 17 February 2023. Ihsanullah said that he is hopeful to take five wickets against the Babar Azam-led side. He said: “I bowled according to the plan given to me by the coach, and this is why I got wickets. Hopefully, I will get a five-wicket haul in the match against Peshawar Zalmi.” Now, after such a statement from the young pace sensation, fans were not happy as they slammed Ihsanullah on the social media platform.
