Opening batter Ruturaj Gaikwad will wed in the first week of June, it has been learned ahead of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) final game. At Narendra Modi Stadium on May 28, CSK will square off against the reigning IPL winners Gujarat Titans (GT).
Gaikwad was one of the players on standby for the Test Championship 2023 final. He won’t be going to London with the team today, and Yashasvi Jaiswal of Mumbai and Rajasthan Royals is expected to take his place. Gaikwad has notified the Indian Cricket Board that he will be getting married on June 3 or 4 and will not be able to travel with the squad to the United Kingdom for the final, according to a story in Indian Express.
