The young Indian batter Prithvi Shaw is once again in the headlines of social media as he failed to make it to the playing XI of Team India for the ongoing first T20I against New Zealand. It was young opener Shubman Gill who made it to the final XI of the team for the T20I series opener in Ranchi.

The Indian cricket fans couldn’t resist reacting on social media regarding the same as Shaw was included in the squad of India after a long time. Fans took to Twitter to come up with some interesting reactions and responses on Prithvi Shaw’s didn’t get a game for yet another time.

Speaking of the match at the moment, Indian skipper Hardik Pandya asked the visitors to bat first at the surface of JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi. The Kiwis have scored 85 runs for the loss of two wickets in 10.4 overs. Finn Allen got out on the individual score of 35 runs followed by Mark Chapman’s duck off Washington Sundar.

Washington Sundar has scalped two wickets by conceding only 16 runs in 3 overs so far. Senior opener Devon Conway and middle-order batter are currently there in the middle on the individual scores of 36 and 10 runs respectively.
