“One thing that has been a concern” - Deep Dasgupta highlights India’s major concern ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 Final

Former Indian keeper-batter and commentator Deep Dasgupta has voiced out his opinion on the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav’s form as India heads into the grand finale against Pakistan on Sunday, September 28, in Dubai.

I think he needs to give himself a little time, and look to play straight, and not try to play behind right from the get-go. Surya -the captain needs to back Surya- the batter," he added.

Additionally, Deep Dasgupta also observed that the close game against Sri Lanka was needed for Team India, and it was a reality check for the Suryakumar-led side before heading into the much-awaited clash against their arch-rivals.
