After hitting a low in the Indian Premier League which saw David Warner being dropped from the SRH team, the southpaw has bounced back in style. He delivered a stellar performance in the 20-20 World Cup and backed it up with a brilliant half-century in the first Ashes Test at Gabba which paved way for a big Australia win.
Post the win, Warner took to Instagram and posted a morphed video of Allu Arjun. In the video from the upcoming movie Pushpa's newly-released music video Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda, Warner swapped faces with Arjun that left the fans in split. Even India skipper Virat Kohli and former Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson reacted to the video. Notably, Warner enjoys a massive fan following in India and often posts videos on himself dancing to Indian songs.
Meanwhile, Australia registered a big 9 wicket win in the Ashes opener. England were down and out after conceding a whopping 278 run lead in the first inning. However, they bounced back on Day 3 to end the day at 220-2, trailing by 58 runs, with Root and Malan set. However, Root and Malan were dismissed cheaply on Day 4 which triggered a collapse as England slipped from 220-2 to 297 all-out, setting a target of just 20 runs, which Australia wiped off without breaking a sweat.
