South African cricketer, Marizanne Kap recently took to Instagram to share her vacation pictures with her partner Dane van Niekerk.

Two of the best all-rounders’ in South Africa’s women’s cricket, Dane van Niekerk and Marizanne Kapp are spending gala time in a private resort in the Maldives. The duo is currently staying at a luxurious South Palm resort Maldives. The resort in surrounded by white sandy beaches with a clear lagoon. It is known to be one of the best locations for couples and honeymooners. The families can also spend a fun-filled time here.

For the unversed, Dane van Niekerk and Marizanne Kapp dated for several years before getting married in 2018 in a private ceremony, months prior to the start of the ICC 2018 T20 Women’s World Cup.

Marizanne Kapp recently took to Instagram to share pictures. In the photos, the duo could be seen enjoying a great time in a beautiful resort in the Maldives. Here's the post:

Marizanne Kapp was part of South Africa’s women team for the in the recently concluded ICC 2022 Women's World Cup. South Africa captain, Dan van Nieker, however, was ruled out for the tournament due ankle injury.

South Africa fared really well in the perennial tournament. They finished at the second position at the end of the league stage matches. In 7 matches, the Proteas managed to win 5 games and lost one. Laura Wolvaardt and Shabnim Ismail led the way with bat and ball respectively for them. Laura Wolvaardt finished as the fourth highest run-getter, scoring 433 runs in 8 matches, while Shabnim Ismail was the second highest wicket-taker. She scalped 14 wickets in 8 games at 17.50.

South Africa, unfortunately, couldn’t reach the finals as they suffered a 137-run defeat at the hands of England in the 2nd Semi-final match of the tournament.
