Virat Kohli is currently busy preparing for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The series will kick off on 9 February 2023 in Nagpur. The former India skipper will look to end his century drought in the longest format of the game in this upcoming series. He has been enjoying great form with the bat in the recent series in the white-ball formats.


Virat Kohli performed well in both the ODI series at home against Sri Lanka and New Zealand respectively. However, he did not have a good Test series in Bangladesh. In that series, Kohli scored only 45 runs in four innings, at an average of 15. So, fans are eager to see him in action in this upcoming series against the Aussies.

However, on 7 February 2023, Virat Kohli made headlines when he shared a strange tweet with his fans. He claimed that he has lost his new phone even without unboxing it. The tweet reads: “Nothing beats the sad feeling of losing your new phone without even unboxing it Has anyone seen it?” However, after seeing the tweet, fans understood that it might be a promotion for any company or brand. Even, Zomato were quick to respond and wrote, "feel free to order ice cream from bhabhi's phone if that will help.” Along with that, fans came up with some hilarious tweets for the former India skipper. Speaking about his form, In the three-match ODI series, Virat Kohli scored only 55 runs, at an average of 18.33. 


After that, ahead of this upcoming series, Virat was seen visiting Rishikesh with his wife and the Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma. Many images went viral where Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen on a spiritual trip ahead of the Aussie challenge. The couple visited the Swami Dayanand Ji Maharaj’s samadhi at Swami Dayanand Ashram in Rishikesh. However, it is not the first time when this couple has visited a spiritual place.  In November 2021, Virat and Anushka visited Neem Karoli Baba ashram in Uttarakhand. At that time, Kohli was on a break from the tour of New Zealand following the 20-20 World Cup in Australia.
