CSK fans trend #DhoniReturns after MS Dhoni resumes training for IPL

Chennai Super Kings is among the most popular IPL teams. It enjoys a huge fanbase and its supporters never shy away from expressing their love for the team. One of the prominent reason for its massive fan following is the presence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. With the Indian Premier League less than a month away, the CSK fans are trending #DhoniReturns on Social media. More than 34000 tweets have already been made using this hashtag.

While the reason for#Dhoni returns is still unknown, it is believed that MS Dhoni’s return to training can be one of the reason. MS Dhoni arrived in Chennai on Wednesday and the images of the same were shared on social media by CSK. As per the PTI, MS Dhoni along with Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad, N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore, C Hari Nishaanth and others has resumed training for the Indian Premier League.

 CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan also confirmed the same. He revealed that other players are also expected to join the squad soon. 

“The CSK players completed their quarantine requirements and began practice yesterday. Gradually, the others will join the camp after a period of quarantine.A few others like leg-spinner Karn Sharma and Bhagath Varma, who was picked during the auctions recently are expected to arrive in the coming days."

Kasi Vishwanathan also revealed that they might shift their base camp to Mumbai but added that the decision will be taken in a week. 

“Yes, certainly we will think about the possibility of shifting our camp but a decision will be taken in a week’s time. As of now, we are starting our camp in Chennai from tomorrow with the players who are available.”

CSK had a miserable tournament last year but they’ll hope for a better performance in the upcoming edition. Players like Suresh Raina, Moeen Ali, Krishnappa Gowtham, Cheteshwar Pujara will add to their strengths.
