Bangladesh gave a tough fight to the Indian team in the 35th match of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup as they took the match to the last ball. But eventually, the Bangla tigers fell six runs short of the revised target in the second innings and lost the match by five runs. But it seems that the Bangladesh camp is feeling quite a bit tough to accept this defeat.
Subsequently, the Bangladesh wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan went on to accuse former Indian skipper and senior Virat Kohli of fake fielding that went unnoticed by the umpires.
“Certainly, the field was wet and it had an impact and everyone saw that and eventually what I felt is that when we were talking there was a fake throw and it could have been a five-run penalty and that could have gone our way but unfortunately even that didn’t come,” said the 28-year-old.
These comments from Nurul didn’t go down well with some of the cricket fans on Twitter who termed it as a ‘useless cry’ as none of the Bangla players appealed to the umpire about Virat’s fake fielding.
Here’s how fans reacted to Nurul’s accusations about Virat Kohli

There was clearly No Appeal by the Bangladesh players , Umpire seems to have missed it .
Fake Fielding is a Penalty but No one Appealed or Noticed at Live . So All the Whinge & Cry after the match is utterly useless. pic.twitter.com/XoTfC3CL02
Ban lost to India by 5 runs - if India was penalized for fake fielding incident Ban would have gotten those 5 runs

Pak lost to India by 1 run - India insisted on no ball and got 1 run for it.
If I was a statistician - wait I am one, yeah the math isn’t mathing.
#INDvsBAN is this considered fake fielding? pic.twitter.com/rwLaPwv3xs

That’s not correct. It’s up to the umpires to determine if it constitutes as ‘fake fielding’ and can penalise the fielding team with five runs and that ball isn’t counted. On the first offence itself. The law doesn’t mention ‘warn first-penalise later) https://t.co/wJTJdqsQzy

Before lamenting, please read about the entire law concerning #fakefielding. #Kohli wasn't wrong there, batters were not at a disadvantage, they were not distracted and the ball was clearly visible to batter running towards striker's end. No point of penalty here. #INDvsBAN

Earlier, in the first innings of the match, Virat Kohli smashed a brilliant knock of 64 runs off 44 balls with eight boundaries and a six to his name. The Delhi batter has also become the highest-run scorer in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022. He has scored three half-centuries in the tournament with three not-outs.
Other than Kohli, KL Rahul, who was struggling with his form in the first three matches also made a strong comeback with a knock of 50 runs off 32 balls with 3 boundaries and four sixes to his name.
Bangladesh opener Litton Das provided an outstanding start to his team with a swashbuckling knock of 60 runs off just 27 balls with seven boundaries and three sixes. Although his innings went in vain as rain played a villain in the match and he went back to the pavilion just in the over bowled after the game resumed.
