Colin Munro is currently busy playing for Islamabad United in the ongoing Pakistan Super League. He has been in decent form in recent matches. However, he scored a crucial 40 runs in the last match against Multan Sultans. His knock was instrumental as they chased down a target of 206 runs with one ball to spare.

However, a video has now gone viral where the Kiwi batter was seen attending the post-match press conference. There, a Pakistani journalist asked him a question and in reply to that, Colin Munro came up with an epic answer. Hearing that, fans went crazy and hailed the cricketer as he left the journalist stunned.

Speaking of the video, the reporter asked him what were the differences between the Islamabad team and the Multan team. In reply to that, Munro said: “We won, they lost’. Heating that, other journalists in the room left in laughter, and the journalist was stunned. As of now, Colin Munro has scored 268 runs in eight innings in PSL 8. 

Speaking of the last match against Multan Sultans, the Multan side batted first and scored 205 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Shan Masood was the highest run-scorer with 75 runs off 50 balls, including 12 fours. For Islamabad, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Wasim took two wickets each while Faheem Ashraf took one wicket.

In reply, Islamabad managed to score 209 runs for eight wickets in 19.5 overs. Skipper Shadab Khan scored 44 runs while Munro scored 40 runs off 21 balls, including four boundaries and three sixes. But, it was Faheem Ashraf who remained not out on 51* runs off 26 balls, including five fours and two sixes. For Multan, Anwar Ali took three wickets while Ihsanullah and Usama Mir grabbed two wickets. Hence, he won the player of the match award for his all-around performance in the game. With this win, Islamabad are now in the second spot with six wins out of eight games.
