Sharma disclosed that players are using fake fitness injections and that the Cricket Board is deliberately overlooking the injected fitness of players. "Jaspirt Bumrah was unable to bend as he had a major injury; other than that, there are one or two players who take injections in private and say that they are fit to play.

"These are not painkillers. These injections contain a drug which isn't caught in a dope Test.

"Bumrah's injury was such critical that If he had played even one match of T20 WC in Aus, he would've got ruled out for at least one year.

"The players are not fit, but they take injections to play. They are ready to play even at 80% fitness. They take injections and start playing," Sharma said in the leaked clips from the sting operation.

Chetan Sharma reveals a big ego clash between ex-Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly and former India skipper Virat Kohli. Sharma said that Kohli thought he was above the board and that Ganguly was entitled to his stance.

He said Kohli was of the view that his captaincy was taken away just because of Ganguly's stance, and that is why at a press conference in South Africa, he hit back at Ganguly. Sharma accused Kohli of being a liar, and it was communicated beforehand not to give up his captaincy. Ganguly told Virat not to give up the role. Sharma added it hurt his ego, and as a result, Virat blamed Ganguly at the press conference.
