The men's cricket team's uniform, "inspired by the heritage of historic Jam Minaret," was unveiled by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Thursday, January 30, in preparation for their inaugural participation in the ICC Champions Trophy.

The ACB was thrilled to unveil their new uniform for the competition on social media, marking their first-ever participation in the eight-team ICC tournament, which is returning after eight years.

The Jam Minaret, which is 65 meters high and 9 meters in diameter, has stood for about 800 years. The jersey's geometric designs were influenced by the iconic Jam Minaret.

The athletes from Afghanistan will proudly don this jersey. It stands for solidarity and resolve. During the competition, the team hopes to shine internationally. Supporters hope that wearing this jersey will motivate them to give their best effort.
