Dinesh Bana's six helped India clinch their fifth U-19 World Cup victory. Many players, including Raj Bawa, Ravi Kumar, Shaik Rasheed, and Nishant Sandhu stood out in the final against England. From cricketers to the Prime Minister, everyone lauded the team for their efforts. And now, BCCI has announced cash prizes for every player and the support staff.
The players will be getting 40 lakhs,, while Rs. 25 Lakhs has been announced for every member of the support staff.
Announcing it on Twitter, BCCI secretary Jay Shaha wrote, "I’m pleased to announce the reward of 40 lacs per player and 25 lacs per support staff for the U19 #TeamIndia contingent for their exemplary performance in #U19CWCFinal."

BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly also congratulated the team for their achievement and announced the same cash prize.

This was India's fifth win in the U-19 World Cup after 2000, 2008, 2012, and 2018. Raj Bawa and Ravi Kumar took 5 wickets and 4 wickets respectively to restrict England to just 189 runs. James Rew scored 95 in 116 balls to push England to 189.
Later on, Sheik Rasheed and Nishant Sandhu scored half-centuries to get India in a comfortable position. Raj Bawa played an important knock of 35 in 54 balls, and Dinesh Bana hit two sixes to get India through.
