There has been a long-running joke relating Yuzvendra Chahal's wife, Dhanashree Verma, to India star batter Shreyas Iyer. A similar incident took shape recently when Shreyas Iyer appeared in Dhanashree's Instagram story. Notably, the two are often photographed together, leading to fans trolling Chahal on a regular basis; the same happened this time as well.

The cricket player posed with his sister Srestha Iyer, a dancer and choreographer like Dhanashree, for a group portrait. According to their original Instagram posts, the group attended an Iftaar celebration during the current Ramzan. Dhanashree posted the image with the caption: "My cuties," with a face-blowing kiss and a heart emoji.

Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of IPL 2023

Due to a back issue that has bothered him continuously since December, Shreyas Iyer has been disqualified from the 2023 IPL. Moreover, the right-handed batsman is most likely unavailable for the upcoming June 7 Test Championship final between India and Australia at the Oval in London.
