It is important for fans to remain cautious while booking tickets online, as fraudulent activities have been reported in the past. 

According to a report by the Times of India, police uncovered multiple fake websites selling counterfeit IPL 2024 tickets. Two such fraudulent sites—book.myshow-premium.net and bookmyshow.cloud—were shut down by authorities. This year, measures are expected to be more stringent to ensure fans do not face similar issues, as they remain the most crucial stakeholders in the IPL’s success.
