Ravindra Jadeja is currently busy playing the ongoing three-match ODI series at home against Australia. He enjoyed a great Border-Gavaskar Trophy recently after making a comeback from injury. Jadeja won the player of the series award also along with his veteran partner, Ravichandran Ashwin.

He even made a great comeback in the ODI format when he played the first ODI match in Mumbai. Ravindra Jadeja also won the player of the match award for his all-round performance. Now, on 21 March 2023, the star team India all-rounder shared an image of him meeting with the Indian Prime Minister during the Ahmedabad Test.

Ravindra Jadeja shared the tweet with a caption: “Much needed appreciation from prime minister @narendramodi sir”. Speaking of the tweet, the image is from the fourth Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad. All players had a chance to meet with Narendra Modi before kicking off the game while standing for the national anthem. But, seeing that, fans went crazy and claimed that it has been so long since to share this appreciation tweet for the Prime Minister. Some fans also claimed that he is only doing this as his wife is a major part of the BJP party. Rivaba was given a ticket to contest the Gujarat Assembly election by the BJP and she won from the Jamnagar North seat.

Speaking about Modi’s visit to Ahmedabad, the Prime ministers of both countries attended the fourth Test. Narendra Modi watched the match with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese from the stadium. It was Albanese’s first India tour after becoming the Prime Minister in May 2022. They also presented special Test caps to Rohit Sharma and Steven Smith respectively before the match got started. However, Ravindra Jadeja will be in action again on 22 March 2023 when the series decider will take place in Chennai.
