India's current bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar will not be applying for the positions after their contract expires next month. Arun and Sridhar are eligible age-wise to reapply for bowling and fielding coach positions. But they are not willing to continue and have decided to part ways. The upcoming mega event is set to be their last in the India dressing room after spending six years with the team. According to Cricbuzz, the duo has also informed BCCI about not reapplying for their respective posts.

R Sridhar also penned an emotional post on social media thanking BCCI and the team India players during his stint with the team. Moreover, he is also looking forward to the final assignment with the side and wants to enjoy the last few weeks in the dressing room.

Meanwhile, the Cricbuzz report also read that one of Sridhar and Arun have got a confirmed offer from one of the IPL franchises based in North India. However, the official announcement could be made only after their contracts expire next month to avoid any conflict of interest. Both of them are expected to get signed by the IPL teams and they could get multiple offers with two new teams to be added from the next season.
