The pace attack led by veteran speedster Mohammed Shami scalped sent half of the visitorsโ€™ team back to the pavilion only on the score of 15 runs in 10.3 overs.

Later on, the Indian bowlers didnโ€™t give any chance of bouncing back for Tom Lathamโ€™s men in the first innings and bundled the entire team only on the score of 108 runs in 34.3 overs. Shami finished with three wickets by conceding just 18 runs in 6 overs with an unbelievable economy rate of 3.00 including one maiden over to his name.

Other than Shami, Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar scalped two wickets each alongside one wicket each claimed by Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Kuldeep Yadav.
