Speaking of the tweet, Kohli shared images and videos with a caption: “Look for excuses or look to get better.” Seeing the veteran batter in such a hardworking session, fans went crazy and shared some views on social media. Recently, some images went viral where Kohli and his wife, the Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma was seen with him attending the Krishna Das Kirtan show in London. However, his way of dismissal in the second innings of that WTC final left the former Team India batter, Sunil Gavaskar unhappy.

After the loss, while speaking on Star Sports, Gavaskar said: “It was a bad shot. It was an ordinary shot. You are asking me how he did that – but you should ask Kohli what shot he played. That was a shot outside the off stump. We talk so much about the fact that when you are going to win a match, you need a long innings, a century-plus innings. How are you going to get a century-plus innings, when you play a shot that is so far outside the off stump? He was batting on 49, and nearing a landmark. I don’t think Virat Kohli would have played that shot if he wasn’t near a personal landmark.”
