Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were in action on 3 May 2023 when they took on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing IPL at Ekana Cricket Stadium. LSG were coming off after a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last game. But, what made headlines is the bust-up Virat Kohli had with Naveen-ul-Haq and mentor, Gautam Gambhir.

Due to such actions, both Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100% of their match fee. While Naveen was fined 50% of his match fee. So, LSG were looking for a win but due to rain, the match got postponed after 19.2 overs of LSG’s innings. But, after the match, LSG players met with MS Dhoni and Naveen-ul-Haq was one of them. Now, an image has gone viral where the LSG pacer was seen with Dhoni.

The franchise shared the images with a caption: Everyone loves a post-match meeting with the (GOAT EMOJI).” Speaking of the match, CSK won the toss and asked LSG to bat first. All batters failed miserly against CSK spinners until Ayush Badoni came out to bat. He scored 59* runs off 33 balls and LSG were at 125 runs for seven wickets in 19.2 overs before the rain interrupted. As the match got postponed, both teams shared a point each. However, Naveen-ul-Haq was a part of the playing XI. Speaking of his bust-up with Kohli, it all started when the LSG pacer went out to bat. 

The former RCB skipper was all over him with his aggressive nature and abusive language. RCB won the match and during the customary handshake between the teams, it continued. Then, LSG mentor, Gautam Gambhir was seen getting involved in that. But, Kohli seemed to be looking to make him understand the whole situation. Later, a video came out where LSG skipper, KL Rahul asked Naveen to have a chat with Kohli. But, he just denied his captain and walked away on his face.
