Over the last few years, KL Rahul has scored runs in this league for fun. It is safe to call him the "Mr Consistent" of the Indian T20 league. He was a lone-warrior for Punjab in several editions and will now be seen representing Lucknow in the upcoming edition.

3) Virat Kohli (C):

Virat Kohli has scored the most number of runs in the history of the Indian T20 league. His tally of 973 runs during the 2016 edition is still the most number of runs scored by an individual batter in an edition. Besides, he has been an absolute pillar for the Bangalore-based franchise.
