A huge controversy sparked from the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) game in IPL on 1 May 2023. It all started with the verbal spat between Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq. But, it continued after the game, and LSG mentor, Gautam Gambhir got involved in it also.

Seeing that, fans went berserk and shared their views on social media. It was quite shocking to see two former teammates getting into an ugly bust-up. Regarding that, another former Team India spinner, Harbhajan Singh shared a video on his official YouTube Channel. He claimed that he will make sure that both Kohli and Gambhir meet and hug each other to end this fight after the conclusion of IPL 2023.

In the video, Harbhajan Singh said: “I Am Ashamed Of What I Did With Sreesanth In 2008. Virat Kohli Is A Legend, Should Not Get Involved In Such Things. Whatever Happened Between Virat And Gambhir Was Not Right For Cricket”. He further added: "I'll make sure Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir meet and hug each other after the IPL. The fight will end". Speaking of Harbhajan, he also got involved in a controversy in IPL 2008 when he slapped his PBKS (formerly known as KXIP) teammate, Sreesanth. So, hearing such a comment from him, fans trolled the former Team India spinner brutally.
As a result of this bust-up, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been fined 100% of their match fee. While Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined 50% of his match fee for breaching the IPL code of conduct. Speaking of the incident, it all started when Naveen-ul-Haq came out to bat and a verbal spat began between him and Kohli. Then, after the match, during the customary handshake, both of them got into a spat again as Maxwell pushed Naveen away. Then, Gambhir came up and got into a heated exchange with Kohli. However, KL Rahul asked Naveen to have a chat with Kohli. But, the LSG pacer denied it completely.
